Pink Season is Hong Kong’s biggest LGBTI festival that seeks to promote acceptance, inclusion and awareness. Cred worked with the non-profit organization on a pro-bono project to promote Pink Season and its activities for 2016.
We helped drive attendance for a fundraiser event to raise money for Pink Season and secured auction items for the fundraiser including tickets for the musical Wanted and sponsorship from jeweler John Hardy. Through media relations, we increased Pink Season Hong Kong’s exposure by lining up interviews with the spokesperson and distributing bilingual press releases. We also contributed to the non-profit’s social media channels.
Our campaign achieved 38 pieces of quality coverage from reputed local print and digital publications including China Daily, SCMP, The List, Time Out, RTHK, Post Magazine, Localiiz, HK Magazine, Plug Magazine, and Coconuts. Due to last year’s success Pink Season was a finalist at Community Business’ LGBT Inclusion Index Awards
“As Pink Season has expanded over the years, it became clear that we needed support with PR. We were delighted when Cred Communications agreed to support us. The team were all so positive and creative. We were shortlisted for an award this year which was largely due to the great work that Mandy and the team did. I would recommend them to anyone.”
