HotelQuickly is an app that allows users to make last-minute discounted hotel bookings in 15 countries across Asia-Pacific. The startup sought to boost its popularity among local and expat Hong Kongers.
Our unique promotional campaign for HotelQuickly focused on International Kissing Day (July 6). HotelQuickly held a contest with prizes of staycations at 5-star hotels and promoted the hashtag #KissMeQuickly, inviting Instagram users to upload their kissing photos.
The #KissMeQuickly campaign was covered by over 25 media outlets totalling a readership of over 10 million people. The app itself was featured by over 50 media outlets, including Hong Kong’s two biggest-selling English newspapers South China Morning Post and The Standard, Bloomberg and Apple Daily (one of HK’s top newspapers). Bloomberg, which on its own has an audience of 330 million, interviewed co-founder of HotelQuickly Christian Mischler on its program “Trending Business”.
