One of Hong Kong’s much loved hotels Holiday Inn Golden Mile transitioned into a new era as renovations took place across the hotel. To celebrate the milestone, Cred worked with the international hotel franchise to organize a relaunch, highlighting the key Lobby & Public Areas.
Cred developed a creative integrated communications strategy featuring a highly-engaging gold-themed cocktail party, media relations, and digital campaign which integrated a ‘Golden Mile’ artwork, golden canapes and cocktails, and live jazz music to reintroduce the hotel to its existing fans and introduce the hotel to a new audience.
The coverage we secured for Holiday Inn Golden Mile focused on the cocktail party, the hotel’s story and its developments as well as details of the new design and renovation. Our PR campaign achieved around 30 pieces of coverage in online and print media. The hotel was featured in top local luxury magazines including Hong Kong Tatler, The Peak, and Prestige as well as in Hong Kong’s widely-read newspapers such as Sing Tao Daily, Apple Daily, Headline Daily, and The Standard. In total, the campaign saw a readership of over 23 million.
