Implementation

Global Sources Startup Launchpad, Asia’s largest hardware startup trade show, took place from 11 to 14 April 2018 at the AsiaWorld-Expo. We worked with Global Sources on publicizing the launch in Hong Kong and abroad, as well as driving media attendance and awareness before, during and after the event. With plenty of experience working with start-ups and brands across AI, IoT, and technology, we developed a strategic PR campaign targeting tech and B2B media publications.

Pre-opening press releases were sent to local and regional media across Chinese and English, digital and traditional, to create buzz and introduce speakers. Discount codes were provided for the readers of those publications. On-site, we arranged interviews with the head of International Business at Global Sources as well as guest speakers during the 4-day trade show.
