British Council actively promotes STEM education in Hong Kong, especially among children and women. Cred worked with the international organization to promote one such of its initiatives – Science Alive 2017.
We developed an intensive campaign centered around media relations and social media strategies to increase exposure of the annual science festival and British Council’s initiatives by organizing a media tour, distributing press releases, lining up media interviews for the spokesperson and visiting scientists, and producing an informative and targeted social media content plan for different channels.
Our campaign achieved 38 pieces of media coverage from reputed publications in Hong Kong including South China Morning Post, Sing Tao, The Standard, HKET, and Yahoo! News and an overall readership of almost 15 million. Our social media campaign reached over 65,000 people and accumulated around 1,800 likes.
